Dr. Matthew M. Do
My philosophy in the practice of medicine is to treat our patients as if they are a family member. I always ask myself in the process of taking care of my patients what would I do if this person I am treating is my mom or my dad or a family member. I find that by following this philosophy I have been very successful in practicing medicine and providing top notch quality of care for my patients. I have also instill this family philosophy with my staff. So when you come to our office you will feel at home
My History
"My family and I came to this great country as war refugees in 1975. We were sponsored by a Methodist Church to live in North Wilkesboro, NC. We moved to Orange County, Ca in 1981. We started with nothing but the clothes on our backs. With hard work and the opportunities this wonderful country provided for us we are now doing very well as a family. My
older brothers and sisters along with my father worked hard to support our family when we first moved to the U.S. But still I had to borrow money from the government in order to go to school. With a combination of student loans, grants and scholarships I was able to obtain a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Cal Poly Pomona and subsequently a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from a private school called the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco. I graduated from podiatry school in 1992 and completed my post-graduate training in 1994. I have been in private practice since which is now going on 19 years. I truly believe in my heart that this is the greatest country in the world and if one works hard the opportunities are there for one to be successful. I am living proof of that!"
